The church will be open during parish office hours for anyone who would like to call in to light a candle or say a prayer.

We would ask that everyone adhere to HSE guidelines regarding social distancing and hand sanitizing.

We would love you to get in touch with us about what these times are like for you. We hope there are some good things and maybe there are some difficult things, but we can bring them all to God.

You can send an email to Colette or to Kim in the office with a piece you have written or with a picture you have drawn attached. We will print them off and put them on our wall for you to look at when you can come back to see us again.

It has always been part of our tradition to turn to Mary our Mother in times of worry and distress.

Pope Francis has asked that during the Month of May the rosary be recited by the Church, right across the World,

to pray for those affected in any way by Covid-19.

Let us rediscover the beauty of praying the Rosary at home during this month. At the end of each Rosary, we can recite a prayer asking for Mary’s intercession, that the Lord will free us from this pandemic and life will resume its normal course.

Prayer of Pope Francis for the month of May

O Mary, you shine continuously along our journey

as a sign of salvation and hope.

We entrust ourselves to you.

Help us, mother of Divine Love,

to confirm ourselves to the will of the Father

and to do what Jesus tells us.

He who took our sufferings upon Himself,

and took up our sorrows to bring us, through the cross,

to the joy of the Resurrection.

We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God.
